Abstract

Lingnan literature, as an important part of Chinese literature, has demonstrated its unique regional characteristics and cultural heritage from ancient times to the present. This paper systematically reviews the historical background and cultural foundations of Lingnan literature, analyzes its artistic features and innovative expressions in different historical periods, and explores its influence in ancient, Ming and Qing, modern, and contemporary times. By analyzing the cross-cultural integration and regional features of Lingnan literature, this paper summarizes its unique value within the Chinese literary system and its inspirations for modern literature. Looking ahead, Lingnan literature is expected to thrive with new vitality under the context of multiculturalism and globalization, further enhancing the diversity and international influence of Chinese literature.
