Abstract

Musical imagination and music perception play significant roles in violin performance. Learning the violin requires not only mastering techniques but also understanding the intrinsic logic, emotional expression, and detail handling of musical works. Musical imagination helps students better comprehend and memorize music by visualizing the structure and melodies of musical compositions, thus linking them closely with techniques. On the other hand, music perception enables performers to sensitively perceive emotions, details, and coordination in ensemble playing, leading to precise expression and harmonious performance. This paper explores the strategies of applying musical imagination and music perception in violin learning to enhance performance skills and artistic expression.
