With the implementation of the “1+X” certificate system, the reform of vocational English course teaching has become an urgent necessity. Thoroughly understanding the essence of the “1+X” certificate system, examining the current state of vocational English course reforms, and analyzing the assessment content and scoring standards of VETS are crucial for exploring effective strategies to implement course-certificate integration in vocational English courses. Using the Workplace English course as an example, this paper investigates effective strategies for integrating vocational English courses with intermediate VETS from the perspective of teaching resource integration.
