By sorting out the composition of cultural resources in ethnic cultural characteristic villages in Gansu, this paper analyzes the practical situation of cultural resource protection and utilization and the realistic dilemmas they encounter. Accordingly, this paper proposes optimization paths from three dimensions: adhering to cultural authenticity, constructing a benefit-sharing mechanism, and bridging the inheritance gap. The aim is to promote the integration of living cultural inheritance of ethnic cultural characteristic villages in Gansu with rural revitalization, and to provide a reference for the protection and utilization of cultural resources in similar ethnic cultural characteristic villages.
