Impact of AI Art Creation on Traditional Aesthetic Education Values and Countermeasures

Abstract

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, AI art creation has become a significant phenomenon in the contemporary art field, profoundly challenging the core values of traditional aesthetic education. Rooted in the philosophical foundation of the unity of “truth, goodness, and beauty,” traditional aesthetic education emphasizes the perceptual experience of the aesthetic subject and the cultivation of character, whereas AI art, driven by algorithm-based generative models, presents de-subjectivized and data-driven creative characteristics, thereby reconstructing the subject structure of aesthetic judgment and the value system of art. Based on the connotation and evolution of traditional aesthetic education values, this paper analyzes the generative mechanism and aesthetic logic of AI art creation, reveals the tensions and risks it brings to traditional aesthetic education, and further proposes aesthetic education countermeasures oriented toward integration and reconstruction, emphasizing the reinforcement of aesthetic sovereignty awareness, the reorganization of aesthetic education contexts, and the innovation of educational concepts and methodologies. The aim of this paper is to provide theoretical support and practical insights for the transformation and upgrading of traditional aesthetic education in the digital era.
